Help me interpret my wifes behavior please someone!!?
We have just gone thru and are still going thru a very terrible financial situation. We both work. My wife just feels I could have done more to prevent it. Never the less, during this cycle( last 5 weeks) she has felt very cold towards me and was about to leave me.
She wasnt talking or looking at me.
For the last 1 week, we have been talking and laughing again. We havent had sex in 5 weeks though.Last night we had guests and she was looking sexually stirred up when meeting next to a male friend of ours. Crossing her legs, leaning towards him etc So i text her and told her to sit by the book as it looks terrible. She denies thats what was on her mind. I told her maybe she is right, but it looked akward. She never admits to any faults.She makes it seem like im the one imagining things or the paranoid one.I cant take this anymore. Why is it so hard for some people to ever admit incorrect responsibility? I questioned her what she thinks are her faults in this marriage. Her answer she doesnt know. Meaning she doesnt see what her faults are. We have no physical intimacy( last 5 weeks) and the strain is now getting to me. What Im i held to do? I dont cheat, and never have. She says she doesnt know if things will ever get back to the way they were. I tell her thats a negative mindset. She says she is not God so can not predict the future. Yet if we are having guests and I dont want to be there( I feel its hypocritical to enterain people and show them warmth yet we cant do the same to each other) she says ” hows your absence held to make me come out of this zone and feel for you again…?” I am the one who cooked in this house cause im the better cook. Yet she made it clear she wanted a man who does other manly things like seek a 2 nd job( in this recession) that she didnt care much for the cooking but that she loved my cooking. So i stopped cooking. Now she says ” hows you stopping from cooking held to reunite us”? Meaning she wants me to cook. So I questioned her whay does she want me around when we have guests if she doesnt feel anything for me as she says. She says cause they are our common friends( whom she invited ).
Im trying to interpret this. I need advice from MATURE LADIES AND GENTS. People who are married or older. I dont want teenage advice that says ” leave her” ” split her” etc. I dont judge in split the way the American society has made it. If it doesnt work step out go find happiness and 50 yrs shortly people are still looking for the elusive ‘happiness’.
